Saskatoon specifics

Saskatoon has its own design calendar. Most practices post as if it did not.

A feed of finished rooms could belong to a practice anywhere. The events, awards and publications that the local trade and local homeowners pay attention to rarely appear in it.

01
Local recognition is posted once and forgotten

The home builders' association presented 51 awards at its 34th Housing Excellence Awards in February 2026, including renovation and interior decorating categories. The Prairie Design Awards were last presented in Saskatoon itself, at Remai Modern, in May 2025. An entry, a shortlisting or a win is material for months.

02
The calendar in people's heads is out of date

There is no Parade of Homes in 2026. The organizers say it returns in 2027. The next HomeStyles Home Show is 19 to 21 March 2027. Content planned on last year's dates will be visibly wrong to anyone in the trade.

03
One word in the bio carries legal weight

In Saskatchewan only members of the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan may use the title “interior designer”. Words such as decorator and designer are not restricted. A bio should match the practice's actual standing.

How we work

A complete social media system built around your design practice.

Fucharmonk is a digital marketing agency for interior designers and architects — a niche-based practice that works with interior designers, interior design studios, interior architects, architects and architecture firms, and with nobody else. The system runs in one direction and every stage feeds the next: industry knowledge, content strategy, project storytelling, creative editing, social media, engagement, website visibility, paid campaigns, project inquiries. The production side runs the same way — your assets, then strategy, editing, content creation, publishing, performance analysis and optimization.

01

A specialist agency, not a general one

We work in one industry and we have served over 200 interior companies and architects. That means we already understand portfolios and how they are read, project presentation, design styles, project-based revenue, and the long quiet evaluation a client runs before an inquiry ever arrives. You do not spend the first two months teaching an account manager what a millwork drawing is.

02

You supply the assets. Our team does the rest

Your existing project photographs, videos, raw footage, walkthrough clips, renders and drawings are the raw material. Our creative and editing team turns them into finished social content, Reels, carousels and customized video creatives. We do not run shoots in Canada and we do not send anyone to site — there is no crew, no travel and no photography line in a Canadian engagement, and any agency telling you otherwise from this distance is describing something it cannot do.

03

One project becomes many pieces of content

A single completed project is planned out as a project showcase, a Reel, short-form video cuts, a before and after, the design details, the material selections, the decisions and why they were made, the challenge the site presented, the solution, an educational piece, a carousel, a client story and an expertise post. The objective is to extract the maximum marketing value from assets you have already paid for.

04

Platforms chosen for your practice, not all of them by default

Instagram carries the portfolio and is where a prospect checks you are real; its Canadian advertising reach is roughly 21 million people. Pinterest reaches around 11 million in Canada and behaves like a search engine, which makes it the platform where a two-year-old post still produces inquiries. YouTube takes the walkthrough and the longer explanation. LinkedIn is where commercial, institutional and architecture-adjacent work is won. Facebook still reaches an older residential renovation audience in much of the country. We will tell you which of those your practice should be on — and which it should ignore.

05

Measured on what it produced, then optimized

Reach and followers are inputs, not results. Reporting separates the content that produced saves, shares, profile visits, website sessions and conversations from the content that produced a number. What is working is made more of, what is not is stopped, and the strategy moves quarterly on evidence rather than on instinct. We do not guarantee follower counts, inquiry volume or a return, and you should be careful with anyone who does.

What's included

What social media management for interior designers actually covers

01
Group

  • A strategy built around your practice, your work and the clients you want
  • Content pillars set for the year rather than a calendar filled week to week
  • Every completed project mapped for the content it can produce

  • Platform selection with a reasoned case for each inclusion and exclusion
  • A publishing rhythm a small practice can actually sustain
02
Group
Content creation & creative editing
  • Your project photographs, footage, walkthroughs, renders and drawings edited into finished content
  • Reels and short-form video cut from the material you already have
  • Carousels, before and afters, detail sets and material studies
  • Customized video creatives assembled from existing footage

  • Covers, titling and a consistent visual treatment across the grid
  • No reposted third-party interiors content, ever
03
Group
The content pillars we build around
  • Project showcase, and behind-the-project content
  • Educational content and design tips
  • Project stories — the brief, the constraint, the resolution
  • Design expertise and interior design or architecture insights
  • Materials, finishes and the details most people scroll past
  • Before and after
  • Client testimonials, where the client has agreed to be named
  • Brand positioning and engagement content
04
Group
Publishing & community
  • Instagram marketing run as the primary channel for most practices — grid, Reels and stories on one calendar
  • A full publishing schedule, managed end to end
  • Pinterest boards structured for search rather than for browsing
  • YouTube walkthroughs and longer-form project films from your footage
  • LinkedIn content aimed at commercial and institutional decision-makers
  • Comment and message monitoring, with inquiries routed to you same day
  • Engagement with the trades, suppliers and practices who refer work
05
Group
Meta Ads as a complementary service
  • Meta Ads for interior designers and architects, running off the same strategy as the organic content rather than a second plan
  • Customized creatives and video ads built from your own project assets
  • Several hooks tested against the same project rather than one guess
  • Audience targeting built around who commissions design work
  • Location targeting set to the areas you actually want to work in
  • Structured creative testing, then optimization on what the data shows
06
Group
How this connects to the rest of your digital marketing
  • Social media drives qualified traffic to the website rather than ending at the profile
  • Website development gives that traffic somewhere that converts
  • SEO for interior designers and Local SEO make the practice findable when the search is deliberate
  • GEO puts the practice into AI-generated answers, where a growing share of research now starts
  • Meta Ads and Google Ads add reach on top of an audience already warmed by the content
  • As a lead generation agency for interior designers in Canada, we point the whole ecosystem at one outcome — relevant project inquiries
07
Group
Reporting & optimization
  • Monthly reporting on reach, saves, shares, profile visits and website sessions
  • Which posts produced conversations, not only which produced likes
  • Content pillar performance, so the plan is edited on evidence
  • Paid social reported alongside organic, in one view
  • A quarterly review of what to keep making and what to stop
08
Group
Who this is for
  • Interior designers and interior design studios across Canada
  • Social media marketing for architects, interior architects and architecture firms
  • Residential practices, commercial practices, and firms doing both
  • Established practices with an archive that has never been used properly
  • Growing practices that need presence before they need volume

Process

How we work with your practice

01
01
Assets and audit

We go through what you have already published, what exists unpublished on a hard drive or a phone, which projects you are permitted to show, and what the archive is genuinely capable of producing. Most practices are holding far more usable material than they think, and the first month is often spent entirely on work that was already finished.

02
02
Strategy

Positioning, content pillars, platform decisions, audience, and the publishing rhythm. This is where we decide what the practice should be known for and which platforms are worth the effort, and where we say plainly which ones are not.

03
03
Editing and content creation

Your footage, photographs, renders and drawings go to our creative and editing team and come back as finished posts, carousels, Reels and video creatives. Nothing is shot; everything is made from what you already own.

04
04
Publishing

Content goes out on a managed calendar across the platforms chosen for your practice, with community management running alongside it and any inquiry routed to you the same day it arrives.

05
05
Performance analysis

Monthly, on what the content produced rather than on what it reached. Saves, shares, profile visits, website sessions and conversations, broken down by content pillar so the reporting says something you can act on.

06
06
Optimization

The plan is edited on that evidence — more of what worked, less of what did not, hooks and formats tested, and paid social layered on where the organic content has already proved which projects an audience responds to.

FAQs

FAQs — Social Media in Saskatoon

Which platforms should a social media management agency use for interior designers and architects in Saskatoon, and what should be posted?+

Instagram and Pinterest for homeowners, LinkedIn for the building trade, and Facebook where a practice already has a following there.

For homeowners: finished projects with a plain account of what was changed, matched before-and-after views, and short explanations of things owners ask about, such as what a basement development or a garden suite involves.

For builders, developers and commercial landlords: project scope, timeline and how the drawings were delivered.

Around the local calendar: the Housing Excellence Awards in February, the HomeStyles Home Show in March, and the Prairie Design Awards every second year. There was no Parade of Homes in 2026; it returns in 2027.

All of it is edited from material your team sends us. We do not attend sites or events in Saskatoon.

One caution on wording: in Saskatchewan the title “interior designer” is reserved for members of the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan, so the bio must match the practice's standing. The Saskatoon overview covers the title rules in more detail.

Social media for a Saskatoon design practice

How the year is planned, where the material comes from, and how the trade audience is treated differently from homeowners.

A year with real dates in it

  • February: the Housing Excellence Awards, run by the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders' Association. Entry is open to its professional members.
  • March: the HomeStyles Home Show at Prairieland Park, next held on 19 to 21 March 2027.
  • Every second year: the Prairie Design Awards, run by the architects' associations of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, which recognize interior design as well as architecture.
  • Every second year: Saskatchewan Design Week and the Premier's Awards of Excellence in Design, run by the Design Council of Saskatchewan.
  • 2027: the return of the Parade of Homes, last held from 13 September to 19 October 2025.

We build the content plan around the events that apply to your practice and leave the rest out. A practice that is not a member of the home builders' association has no reason to post about its awards, and one that is should plan its entry photographs months ahead.

Material: yours, edited by us

We have no one in Saskatchewan and we do not arrange shoots. Your team, your photographer or your clients provide the footage and stills. We provide a one-page capture guide so that what arrives can be used: steady walkthroughs, matched before-and-after angles, close shots of joinery and finishes, and a few lines on what the client asked for.

Two audiences

Homeowners are reached on Instagram and Pinterest with finished work and plain explanations. The building trade, meaning builders, renovators, developers and commercial landlords, is reached on LinkedIn with a different kind of post: scope, timeline, how the drawings were delivered, who the contractor was. Saskatoon HOME magazine, published quarterly and distributed across Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville, covers the same subjects in print; a feature there is worth several posts when it happens.

Local tags, used honestly

Local organizations tag their posts #YXE as well as #Saskatoon; the home builders' association does on its own. We use both, along with the neighbourhood where the client has agreed to it. We have no data on how much reach either tag adds and will report what the account's own figures show.

We manage social accounts for design and architecture practices and nothing else, and have since 2019. We have not managed one in Saskatoon. Nobody from our team will be at HomeStyles or at your project; our part is planning, editing, writing and scheduling.
