We are a niche-based digital marketing agency working only with interior designers, design studios, interior architects and architecture firms across Canada. • Profile and bio wording checked against Nova Scotia's title rules
  • Posts and reels edited from footage and photographs you supply
  • A LinkedIn track for developers, builders and property managers
  • Planned around the region's design awards and the two home shows

The Halifax picture

In a small design community, the profile is read by peers and regulators as well as clients.

Social media for a practice here has two audiences that a larger city blurs together: homeowners deciding whom to call, and a trade community small enough that most people in it know of each other.

01
The bio is the most-read line and the least-checked one

In Nova Scotia, “Interior Designer” may be used only by registered members of Interior Designers of Nova Scotia, and “Architectural Designer” only by those licensed by the Nova Scotia Association of Architects. A bio written by a template or an outside agency often uses one of them without asking whether the practice holds the registration.

02
Developer work is invisible on a feed built for homeowners

A grid of finished living rooms says nothing to the person choosing who will specify the common areas of a 150-unit building. That person is more likely to look at LinkedIn than Instagram, and wants to see a lobby, a schedule and a named contact.

03
Recognition goes unposted

The region has its own awards: the Atlantic Interior Design Awards, the home builders' Peak Awards and the municipality's Urban Design Awards. A shortlisting is a fact a third party has verified. Many practices mention it once, on the night, and never again.

How we work

A complete social media system built around your design practice.

Fucharmonk is a digital marketing agency for interior designers and architects — a niche-based practice that works with interior designers, interior design studios, interior architects, architects and architecture firms, and with nobody else. The system runs in one direction and every stage feeds the next: industry knowledge, content strategy, project storytelling, creative editing, social media, engagement, website visibility, paid campaigns, project inquiries. The production side runs the same way — your assets, then strategy, editing, content creation, publishing, performance analysis and optimization.

01

A specialist agency, not a general one

We work in one industry and we have served over 200 interior companies and architects. That means we already understand portfolios and how they are read, project presentation, design styles, project-based revenue, and the long quiet evaluation a client runs before an inquiry ever arrives. You do not spend the first two months teaching an account manager what a millwork drawing is.

02

You supply the assets. Our team does the rest

Your existing project photographs, videos, raw footage, walkthrough clips, renders and drawings are the raw material. Our creative and editing team turns them into finished social content, Reels, carousels and customized video creatives. We do not run shoots in Canada and we do not send anyone to site — there is no crew, no travel and no photography line in a Canadian engagement, and any agency telling you otherwise from this distance is describing something it cannot do.

03

One project becomes many pieces of content

A single completed project is planned out as a project showcase, a Reel, short-form video cuts, a before and after, the design details, the material selections, the decisions and why they were made, the challenge the site presented, the solution, an educational piece, a carousel, a client story and an expertise post. The objective is to extract the maximum marketing value from assets you have already paid for.

04

Platforms chosen for your practice, not all of them by default

Instagram carries the portfolio and is where a prospect checks you are real; its Canadian advertising reach is roughly 21 million people. Pinterest reaches around 11 million in Canada and behaves like a search engine, which makes it the platform where a two-year-old post still produces inquiries. YouTube takes the walkthrough and the longer explanation. LinkedIn is where commercial, institutional and architecture-adjacent work is won. Facebook still reaches an older residential renovation audience in much of the country. We will tell you which of those your practice should be on — and which it should ignore.

05

Measured on what it produced, then optimized

Reach and followers are inputs, not results. Reporting separates the content that produced saves, shares, profile visits, website sessions and conversations from the content that produced a number. What is working is made more of, what is not is stopped, and the strategy moves quarterly on evidence rather than on instinct. We do not guarantee follower counts, inquiry volume or a return, and you should be careful with anyone who does.

07
Group
Reporting & optimization
  • Monthly reporting on reach, saves, shares, profile visits and website sessions
  • Which posts produced conversations, not only which produced likes
  • Content pillar performance, so the plan is edited on evidence
  • Paid social reported alongside organic, in one view
  • A quarterly review of what to keep making and what to stop
08
Group
Who this is for
  • Interior designers and interior design studios across Canada

  • Residential practices, commercial practices, and firms doing both
  • Established practices with an archive that has never been used properly

Process

How we work with your practice

01
01
Assets and audit

We go through what you have already published, what exists unpublished on a hard drive or a phone, which projects you are permitted to show, and what the archive is genuinely capable of producing. Most practices are holding far more usable material than they think, and the first month is often spent entirely on work that was already finished.

02
02
Strategy

Positioning, content pillars, platform decisions, audience, and the publishing rhythm. This is where we decide what the practice should be known for and which platforms are worth the effort, and where we say plainly which ones are not.

03
03
Editing and content creation

Your footage, photographs, renders and drawings go to our creative and editing team and come back as finished posts, carousels, Reels and video creatives. Nothing is shot; everything is made from what you already own.

04
04
Publishing

Content goes out on a managed calendar across the platforms chosen for your practice, with community management running alongside it and any inquiry routed to you the same day it arrives.

05
05
Performance analysis

Monthly, on what the content produced rather than on what it reached. Saves, shares, profile visits, website sessions and conversations, broken down by content pillar so the reporting says something you can act on.

06
06
Optimization

The plan is edited on that evidence — more of what worked, less of what did not, hooks and formats tested, and paid social layered on where the organic content has already proved which projects an audience responds to.

FAQs

FAQs — Social Media in Halifax

What does a social media management agency for interior designers and architects in Halifax actually handle, and what does the practice still need to do?+

We handle the planning, editing, writing and scheduling. The practice supplies the raw material and approves what goes out.

Our part. A monthly content plan built around your projects and the local calendar, including the Halifax home shows and the regional design awards. Reels, carousels and pins edited from your footage and photographs. Captions written in Canadian English. Profile wording checked against Nova Scotia's rules, under which “Interior Designer” and “Architectural Designer” are protected titles.

Your part. Sending walkthrough clips, stills and drawings from each project, following a short capture guide we provide. Getting your clients' permission to show their homes. Approving each month's posts before they are scheduled.

What nobody from our side does. Attend a site, a shoot or an event in Halifax. We work remotely and reply by email.

Results are reported as website visits and inquiries that came from social media, not as follower counts.

Running social media for a Halifax design practice

What we would change on the profiles first, what the content is made from, and how the year is planned.

Start with the words on the profile

Before any content plan, we read the name field, the bio, the category and the highlights on every profile against the practice's actual registration. A registered member of Interior Designers of Nova Scotia can use the title and the letters IDNS, and we make that visible. A practice that is not registered needs different words, used the same way on Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook. Where it is unclear whether a phrase is acceptable, the regulator is the body to ask, and we would rather ask than guess.

What the content is made from

We do not send anyone to Halifax. You, your photographer or your client supply walkthrough clips, stills, drawings and renders, and our editors cut them into reels, carousels and pins. To make that workable we give your team a short capture list for each project stage, so the material arrives in a usable form: the room before work starts, the same angle at handover, and the details that explain a decision.

  • Renovation projects: before and after from matched angles, with one caption explaining what was changed and why.
  • Heritage properties: what the district rules allowed, shown through the finished work. This is content few people outside the trade can produce.
  • Multi-unit work: lobbies, corridors, amenity rooms and model suites, posted to LinkedIn with the scope stated plainly.
  • Process: drawings, samples and site stages from your own team's phones, which need the least editing and are the easiest to keep up.

A calendar with local dates in it

The Halifax Fall Home Show ran on 2 to 4 October in 2026 and the Spring Ideal Home Show is set for 2 to 4 April 2027, both at the Halifax Exhibition Centre. The Canadian Home Builders' Association – Nova Scotia held its Peak Awards on 27 March 2026. The Atlantic Interior Design Awards gala was held on 11 September 2025 at Pier 21, and the Halifax Urban Design Awards have run in 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2025. We plan content around the ones that are relevant to a practice: entries and shortlistings before, results after, and the projects behind them through the rest of the year.

What we would measure

Follower counts tell a practice very little. We report on profile visits that lead to the website, on inquiries that name social media as how they found you, and on which projects produced them. In a market this size the numbers will be small, and we will report them as they are.

We manage social media only for design and architecture practices and have done since 2019. None of those practices is in Nova Scotia. We will not attend a site, a shoot or an event in Halifax; everything we publish for you is edited from what you send.
